Jon Cohen

Dr. Jon Cohen is Chief Medical Officer at the North Shore-LIJ Health System, the 4th largest non for profit health care system in the country, Professor of Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Senior Lecturer at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. Dr. Cohen is a nationally recognized health care executive who has published over 100 peer review articles and two books. A policy expert on local, state and national health policy, Dr. Cohen is frequently asked to speak and consult on health care issues. He was Senior Healthcare Advisor to the Carl McCall for Governor of New York State 2002 campaign and to the Kerry/Edwards 2004 Presidential campaign. Dr. Cohen recently ran for Lieutenant Goveror of New York on the issue of Healthcare reform.
