Gabriel Pendas

Gabriel Pendas was recently elected Vice-President of the United States Student Association . USSA is the nations oldest and largest national student association representing millions of students. It serves as the student voice on Capitol Hill, in the White House and in the Department of Education. Before joining USSA, Gabriel, a Florida native, served as the 58th Student Senate President at the Florida State University, as well as chair of the Senate Leadership Committee for the Florida Student Association. He organized numerous campaigns on his campus including a voter coalition that increased student voter turnout by 97% as well as a sit-in by student government leaders in then Governor Jeb Bush's office that led to the closure of Florida's Boot Camp system for Juvenile offenders.
