The Anti-Immigrant Youth Movement

Patrick Young, Long Island Wins blogger writes:

Youth for Western Civilization is not a scholarly book group where young people study the classics. Nor is it an organization where students discuss the evolution of philosophy or art in Europe and the Americas. The imagery they've chosen is a little unfortunate - slightly too reminiscent of National Socialism for my taste.
I guess if America's youth want to dress up in brown shirts there's not a great deal that one can do about it; but it is unfortunate.

I'm also surprised that they actually ID themselves as "right WING." "Right wing" and "left wing" are typically pejorative terms that connote extremism. In my experience, even quite radical groups don't usually identify themselves as wingers. It's like coming out and labeling yourself as a fanatic. Or um... adopting brown shirts as your uniform...

Somebody please tell these children about the immigrant investor visa. This visa is attained by immigrants who enter this country and create jobs, start businesses and put money into the economy. These kids may be buying products from these immigrants businesses, may have friends or family that work for them, or may even work for one of them themselves!! Ignorance is bliss in most cases, but in this case it would be the ultimate irony!

I have to disagree with 'blogreader' here. I don't think 'right wing' and 'left wing' are terms that connote any extremism. They are simply ways to express your general stance on the majority of issues.
