Quote of the Week

"If people want to kill themselves, there are ways of doing this. A six pack, and a hose, and go sit in your car, and wave sayonara. You can take a cruise ship on Lake George in New York."

- Rush Limbaugh, giving his analysis of the Oregon right-to-die case currently before the Supreme Court - the first case on the docket of the new Roberts Court [hat tip: MediaMatters]. Who says the leading voices on the right don't take public policy seriously?

Once again Rush lords his superiority over the rest of us great unwashed. Look at him! Sitting there in his steel-reinforced chair, secure, nay, arrogant in the knowledge that he'd float to shore on a cloud of steam and methane, formed by his unending emissions of hot air. You can't buy that kind of self-assuredness and security... that is unless you have a sympathetic physician with a prescription pad who can get you 100 little white shots of hillbilly heroin.
Hoooweee, what a Rush that is!
